As animal lovers ourselves — our restaurant isn't ideal for dogs, given the 3.5-hour experience.
We also want every guest to feel comfortable, including those with allergies. Several dog sitters in Munich will happily look after your four-legged friend during your visit.

The building at Burgstraße 5 dates back to the 14th century — rebuilt in stone after Munich's great fire of 1327, acquired by the city in 1550. Step through the red wooden door and you feel every one of those 700 years.
Chef Tohru Nakamura's cooking is shaped by his German-Japanese heritage. Trained in Europe's finest kitchens and in Japan, he brings together European flavours and the philosophy of kaiseki — with meticulous attention to local, seasonal ingredients.
The result is neither strictly Japanese nor German, but something entirely its own — a cuisine built on precision, curiosity and respect for what each season offers.
Gifting an evening at Tohru is more than a gesture, it is an invitation to an unforgettable fine dining experience.
Our Gift Vouchers are valid for the dining experience or upcoming events at our restaurant.
